How NOT to go Dune Bashing

We were invited to go for a desert picnic with some friends, Nikki and Graeme, but declined as there was an airshow over Abu Dhabi that the boys wanted to watch. Once the show was finished and we were queuing in the traffic to get home, we got a call from Nikki. She was very calm, asked if we were going to come out at all. I said no, I didn't think so (it was already 5pm) and she said, no worries, they had just had a little accident, but could cope. I said OK, we rang off. Then they phoned back, and Graeme spoke to Darrell - as a result of which Darrell dropped us all at home and went whizzing out to the desert complete with rescue tackle. This is what they had done to their car, in the "little" accident. Amazingly, no-one was injured, but there were a couple of spooked kids! It took the rescue vehicles 8 hours to retrieve this from the desert...
