We woke up this morning to the excited voice of the radio DJ announcing that it was raining in the UAE. He went on and on about it, and people were sending messages in from all over, staying where they were and whether it was raining / had just rained / was about to rain...
You have never heard such excitement. Anyone would think that we'd never seen rain here before.. and yet it rained in January!
