Disgrace!

My little puppy Pearl (Ok, not so little, 8 months or so) is in disgrace. During my absence she chewed up a mountain of stuff, including 2 pairs of D's work shoes. Since we got back, the chewing has definitely decreased (Assertive leadership? Not so many shoes left lying around?) but she has now put the nail in her metaphorical coffin as far as D is concerned. She chewed up a pen. Not such a big crime in itself. It could have been because most of the ink landed on (in?) our Persian Carpet that he was upset. Or maybe it was the blue footprints leading from the carpet, up the stairs, back down again, through the diningroom, across to the entrance hall and finally out through my study door... Be that as it may, Pearl is not getting a Christmas card from Darrell this year.
I'm also in disgrace due to my lack of diligence in recording our SA holiday in the blog this year. I could blame the fact my laptop was faulty (which it was) but that would be cheating. I was just too lazy! So following are some photo's to give you the highlights.
