Grand Prix - Abu Dhabi 2010

Well, it's that time of year again. Grand Prix time! And AD lives and breathes by it. This is their second year of hosting the GP finals, and boy do they overdo it. There are free live concerts along the corniche for those who can't go to the GP, there are concerts at the GP for those who can. There are fireworks and displays and absolutely everything in the city is GP related. Tonight the band playing is Linkin Park and tomorrow night is Prince - we're doing some ticket sharing and the boys are enjoying the GP during the day and Darrell and I are doing the concerts at night. I'm looking forward to the outing tonight, even if I'm not exactly sure who Linkin Park (sp?) are. I do remember Prince from about 20 years ago - real blast from the past, should be fun but I hope they put him on stilts so we can all see him!
Didn't Prince rename himself as "The Artist formerly known as Prince?" And now he's back as just plain old "Prince". Wonders never cease.
And in the midst of GP fever we are also trying to prepare for our camping trip in Oman. I've still got time to break a leg though....
