I'm back!

Wow! I was on the point of moving my blog across to wordpress, after lengthy investigation of various blog sites - and thought tonight I would give the blog one last try, and here I am.
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, or why I've been silent for so long, it's not my fault!

I’ve been unable to access my blog since the beginning of April, and so have been unable to share all the wonderful exciting things that have been occurring in my life. I had a girls’ weekend in London (fantastic), a visit from Darrell’s niece and nephew for 2 weeks, we got a new puppy (yes, another one!), David has gone on a rugby tour – to London! – and various other concerts and wonderful things that my fantastic kids have done.

I’ve composed my blog posts in my mind, then, being unable to post and also being too dim to think about writing them in Word for posting at a later date, have lost them.

I have been wracking my brains, such as they are, to figure out what I could have written that was so bad. I can only think that my blog has been blocked by the UAE powers that be for some reason. I deduce this because they changed it into Arabic and I’ve struggled to get it back into English – I have to find the translate button every time I try and do battle with the blog login. And the translate button looks like this:

ترجم الأفكار الي أعمال

I challenge anyone to try and find this in the middle of a page of like looking script! Well, obviously if you’re Arabic then it’s not a problem.

This resulted in a very disgruntled expatwife who just had to fill her blogging time with having her nails painted to cheer her up ....
