We visited a car museum belonging to the Rainbow Sheikh on Friday, Darrell's day off. The Rainbow Sheikh is so nick named as he has owns a Rolls Royce of every shade of the rainbow - apparently a rather unusual Royal Wedding gift.
More interesting to the boys were the monster trucks, the military machines (Unimogs too, for those who have been involved with them!), and the early and different jeeps, mini's and various others I've now forgotten. Outside the car museum is a huge landrover, which doubles as a restuarant,
a globe of the world and the world's largest caravan.

There was a juice bar which was clean and fresh looking and best of all - open during Ramadan! There was also a fort being rebuilt containing Abu Dhabi's first water tower, and a song carved all around the walls of the fort.

There was a market (closed since it was Friday), some old dwellings and a couple of the obligatory camels.
It was a lovely place to visit, and best of all - it was free!
Can anyone point us to the camels? This may explain any difficulty in finding our way around...
If you know your vintage cars, please enlighten us - what is this? Unmarked, unsigned...
