We had planned to go to Wild Wadi for the day, but as we left the house, we found ourselves driving through a Shamal, which got worse as we got closer to Dubai. We started to warm the kids that we may not be able to have our scheduled day in the water park, and Jeannette, whose plan was to leave us there and spend the day on her own exploring Dubai, started to get hopeful that she would not be abandoned. However, we arrived at Wild Wadi and all the rides were open, so we went in. It was very sheltered inside the water park,
so we weren’t really affected by the winds or flying dust that were happening outside, and in fact we benefited from the lack of crowds.
We had a lovely wet day. Jordynne and Alex went off together and tried every single ride in the park. Apparently they did one of the rides 12 times, it was so much fun. We took longer in the park than Darrell had anticipated (surprised?) and I’m afraid that Jeannette had a rather tedious day waiting for us to finish playing.
