More dogs

Little Sahara was only with us for a day before going to a new home - lucky dog! Over the weekend we had Kara, one of the 6 abandoned pups I mentioned last week. Alex really bonded with her - by the end of the weekend she would only go for walks with Alex. Anyone else holding her lead had to walk near Alex or she would perform and try and follow him. Darrell tried to walk her all by himself on the last night and she point blank refused. And Darrell refused to wake Alex to do the midnight walk!

Today we have Pearl, a Saluki cross Dalmation puppy - only 16 weeks old. Very sweet but I anticipate a fair amount of chewing over the next week....have scattered rawhide bones through the house in the hope of damage limitation...
