Eid Mubarak!

For my muslim friends, Eid Mubarak!

For those who don't live here, to me personally this means:

"Yay! Ramadan is over and we can eat and drink in public again and won't get arrested for wearing shorts!"

But we have big news as well - Steph has finally mastered the riding-a-bike-without-stablilisers thing! No mean feat, considering that we have speed bumps in our compound every 20 metres or so, and everytime she came to one she would close her eyes, stop peddling and then cry when she fell off... She can now do speedbumps, turn corners and even start off by herself (as long as she is next to a pavement). It's a good thing that I'm reasonably fit as I'm having to spend half an hour, morning and evening, running next to her (to catch her in case). And a good thing that it is cooling down. This morning was really pleasant - I was surprised later to find out that it was actually 41 deg!
