Sunglasses are a fact of life here, even in midwinter (today's high : 29). So I was somewhat dismayed this morning when venturing forth to find that my sunglasses had mysteriously disappeared from their usual spot. I could only find my scratched old swimming sunglasses. I may have mentioned in a previous blog that in an effort to protect my sunglasses from a maurading Darrell, I had decorated them with pink heart stickers. The stickers have failed me. Darrell (unusual, I know, I know) has misplaced his glasses, and being the problem-solver he is, he peeled the stickers off and appropriated mine. I should just mention that the pair he misplaced were once originally mine too.... I'm going shopping tomorrow and I'm going to buy the most expensive glasses I can find, with diamante sparkling all over them ... let's see him zick those! Besides, you're not an Expat-Wife if you don't have BLING!
