Kitten...

We were driving along after school this week, doing our normal million jobs and drop-offs (OK, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little) when we saw a little kitten chasing 2 labourers down the side of the road. We slowed down and then realised they were kicking at the thing, trying to get it to leave them alone. We stopped and the men told us that it wasn't their kitten and took off. The kitten was obviously starving and knew that people were a source of food - so we picked her up and gave her some KFC (with the outside part removed of course) and some water in a sandwich box. I've never seen a kitten drink so much, it was about 37 deg out there at that time.

Anyway, we took her home, installed her in the kids bathroom with a sandbox and there she is now.

I'm busy advertising for a home for her now, the vet reckons she's about 8 weeks old - isn't she gorgeous?
