After 4 years in the Middle East, yesterday I did something I've not done before in this region.
I bought a heater. Not a big one, just a little blow heater. But. I BOUGHT A HEATER!
Doha seems to be a lot chillier and wetter than Abu Dhabi, so far. It looks as if we may have a proper winter - which is great news for us, but not so great for my folks who are leaving behind a glorious Jo'burg summer to visit us in the cold. Sorry, guys!
