Jordynne accompanied us on the school run, while Ouma slept in. After the run, we had brekka and took Jeannette into town - she had brought some pictures she had painted (please admire them!) and wanted to have them framed before giving them to Darrell for his birthday. We took a little drive around and saw some sights (buildings/sea/mangroves/mosques) before heading to school again. Tuesday was supposed to be the boys' gymnastics lesson, but all the kids voted for a swim and I decided to allow them to
skip gymnastics for this once. Usually I'm very anti skipping classes for which I have paid (usually punishable by disenrollment), but this was a first. Spent the whole afternoon in the poool.... not too shabby for a winter's day.
