We dragged Jeannette out of bed early and made her accompany us on the school run so that after dropping the kids at school, we could head directly out to the Corniche. Not much to say about our morning really, other than sun, Persian Gulf, sand….. 
Oh yes, we found 2 starfish which we thought were dead, they had been washed up by the tide, but which revived upon being immersed in water. Jordy bought a bucket from the shop and we transported them home - I sacrificed my cake holder and it is now a marine aquarium, with two happy looking starfish. Jordynne brought back from the beach a ton of sand, sea water, shells and seaweed to make it feel like home to them. They look great in the middle of my dining room table!
