I eventually took my visitors on the long awaited Grand Mosque tour. I’ve described the mosque before, so I won’t repeat it, but Jordynne and Jeannette were overwhelmed by it’s grandeur and sheer cost. Jordynne was also all full of questions about the Moslem religion, where it is the same and where it is different to Christianity. I answered to the best of my ability, but was stumped by quite a few of her comments. 
Then we went to the Shangri La Souk - a kind of market, but not many shops were open. And of those that were, many were unattended. A bit frustrating as we wanted to buy something and we couldn’t find anyone to pay! But quite impressive as it spoke volumes for the honesty of the general shopper here. Also spoke volumes about sales lost due to lack of service….
