I'm back!

Hello everyone!
I realise I’m in a bit of trouble with various members of my family and friends who have made pointed comments about my prolonged absence from their inboxes. I would like to blame my overlong fingernails making it difficult to type or something equally serious, but I’m afraid that I’ve just been too busy having fun to connect with my keyboard!
Just a brief overview - Darrell and I took the kids to Mauritius over the Easter break, meeting up with my sister and her family and celebrating my 40th birthday (last public admission), our 15th anniversary and most importantly, Steph’s 5th birthday. A very very good way to celebrate, would heartily recommend it to anyone wanting to know how to party in style.
Then a brief space back on our own desert island before I abandoned Darrell and the kids and jetted off to greener pastures. Really quite a lot greener - I had trouble stopping myself going to roll in the Dublin fields and roadsides. However, the idyllic sight of hordes of dog lovers walking their dogs along said pastures was sufficient to deter me.
Back to the desert Island to whip my family back into shape after their fun weekend (much partying and no homework) without Mom, then a very sad week helping my friend Mary-Anne prepare for her departure back to SA.
And now here I am, my laptop on my lap (the kids have commandeered the desktop for Webkinz - much higher priority than Mommy’s emails) with nothing to do but get started on catching up.
So…sorry everyone, I’m back again and about to start work! I will be updating my blog again during the coming week, to entertain (annoy? bore?) you with our adventures, so please keep an eye out. But I’ll do everyone a favour, and make it more photo’s than text, far less hassle to check out….
I’m going to cut off my beautiful fingernails off now, but watch this space!
