A while a go I did a list of how you would know that you've been here too long. Well, this week I've got another couple to add to it:
- When you see a pair of fit flops decorated with fake jewels and it actually crosses your mind to buy a pair - at 350dhs!
- When the radio station starts playing instrumental music you know that someone has died and by the type of music (pop, classic, heavy classic) you can tell how far up the pecking order the dead person is.
In line with this, David had a rugby tournament on this weekend, a big ME thing, teams coming from all over. Because of the days of mourning, today's matches are all being played tomorrow, as well as the matches that were originally scheduled for tomorrow. It should be chaos.
And it clashes with the SAD Fun Day in which I am slightly involved - as in manning the stall, taking a puppy along and my own SAD dogs.... I guess I'll have to choose between cheering David on and my commitment to the dogs!
This is this weeks foster puppy - she's about 10 weeks old - cute or what?
